Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) is pleased to announce the results of the Ninth International Calligraphy Competition which has been organized in the name of Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu.

Mr. Enver Hoxhaj, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, visited IRCICA on 29 April 2013. Dr. Halit Eren received the Minister in his office; talks were held on cultural cooperation at international level, highlighting the activities of IRCICA and the contacts and cooperation developed with the government and the cultural institutions of Kosovo.
The Minister of Health of Turkey Mr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu visited IRCICA
On 27 April 2013 Dr. Halit Eren received the Minister of Health of Turkey Mr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu. He gave information to the Minister on the Centre’s work and guided him to the library.
The visit of Mr. Rafet Husović, Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro
IRCICA was honoured to receive Mr. Rafet Husović, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Montenegro, on 10 April 2013. The Deputy Prime Minister was first received by Dr. Halit Eren at the Directorate General. During the talks, Dr. Eren gave information to the Minister on the Centre’s activities.
Visit of the Minister of Public Administration of Kosovo Mr. Mahir Yağcılar
On 4 April 2013, the Minister of Public Administration of Kosovo Mr. Mahir Yağcılar visited IRCICA. Director General Dr. Eren’s meeting with Minister Yağcılar covered cultural topics relating to the Muslim communities in Europe and cultural issues in general.
Dr. Halit Eren received by H.E. Dr. Hisham Kandil Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt
Dr. Halit Eren, IRCICA Director General, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Dr. Hisham Kandil, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, at his office in Cairo on 7th February 2013, during Dr. Eren’s visit to Cairo on the occasion of the Twelfth Islamic Summit Conference (Cairo, 6-7 February). Dr. Eren was accompanied by Dr. Nazih Maruf, Head of Craft Development Program at IRCICA.

The President of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Abdullah Gül visited IRCICA on 16 September 2011. The President received information on the activities of the Centre and visited its library at Silahhane Building, one of the largest structures of the Yıldız Palace complex.
