The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology of the Republic of Gambia and OIC Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA, Istanbul, Turkey) are jointly organizing an International Congress on “History of Islamic Civilization in West Africa”. The congress will be held in Banjul, Gambia, on 27-28 July 2016.

IRCICA is pleased to announce its call for entries for the Tenth International Calligraphy Competition. Launched in April 2015, the competition will be finalized in May 2016. The deadline for registration is 31 October 2015 and the deadline for submission of the entries, 29 February 2016.
