It provide a detailed summary of the experience of some member countries and master artisans in the field of creativity in Islamic Arts and Crafts, in a way that will introduce such experiences to the artisans and create among them a kind of exchange process in the field of design, training and applied techniques and raw materials.

This volume aims to present an academic documentation based on site survey of various aspects related to arts and crafts in the Muslim World through a group of professionals specialized in this specific area of specialty.  The main target is to assist in advancing the scientific research domain in a way that will assist the researchers in this area.  The book will enable them to know closely the present state of the sector, difficulties faced, along with the designed plans for its development.  It also provide an opportunity for artisans and specialists to conduct a kind of comparison process that will assess various experiences in different countries in a way that will allow more advance steps of action in the field of design, selection of the convenient raw materials, applied techniques, and also exploring more opportunities for artisans in education and training facilities.  Furthermore, it will encourage more regional and international exhibitions in the region which for no doubt will attract more participation of artisans.
