“IRCICA Regional Calligraphy Competition: Central Asia 2023” jointly organized by IRCICA and the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, was finalized with the completion of the Jury’s work in Tashkent on 29 May 2023. Its results were announced on 30 May 2023, during the opening ceremony of the International Conference, “The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan: A Crucial Link in Promoting the World Islamic Heritage”. The participants received their certificates and prizes from Ambassador Dr. Shoazim Minovarov, Director, Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, and Ambassador Prof. Dr. Mahmud Erol Kılıç, Director General, IRCICA. 12 calligraphers from Kazakhstan, Tatarstan (Russian Federation) and Uzbekistan won prizes in the thuluth, naskh and kufi styles of calligraphy.
