Joint seminar series of Imam Bukhari Centre, Uzbekistan and IRCICA

A series of joint online seminars was launched by IRCICA and Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Samarkand, Uzbekistan, titled “Central Asia- The Center of Islamic Culture and Art”, on subjects relating to Islamic history, culture, written sources, monuments, arts and scientific heritage of Central Asia. The first lecture in the series was delivered on 29 April 2024 by Prof. Dr. Ashirbek Muminov from IRCICA on the theme “Continuity of Traditions in the Scientific Centers of Central Asia: Periods of Crises and Interruptions.” The second lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Shovosil Ziyadov, Director of Imam Bukhari Center, on 26 June 2024, on the theme: The History of Bukhara Emirate’s Libraries”.
