IRCICA and the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan (Tashkent) conducted a joint online seminar on 19 February 2025 where Prof. Dr. Ashirbek Muminov, Advisor to the Director General of IRCICA, spoke on “International projects implemented by IRCICA in the field of historical and cultural studies” and answered questions about studies on historical manuscripts as works of science and scholarship and as sources of history; management and utilization of the collections and questions of accessibility; international achievements in these fields; IRCICA’s contributions, studies and publications relating to these subjects. The International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan collaborated in this project through its ICESCO Chair for “Islamic Studies and Islamic Civilization” and its IRCICA Chair for “Islamic History and Source Studies”. The lecture was attended by a large group of researchers from various institutions.
