On the occasion of the 61st Library Week commemorated from 7-13 April 2025 in Türkiye with the theme “Productive Libraries”, a panel open to public, on “IRCICA Library and Archive in the Context of Cooperation between the Researcher and the Librarian,” was held at IRCICA Conference Hall on 10 April 2025. The panel started with the greetings of Director General Prof. Mahmud Erol Kılıç and was moderated by Dr. Didar Bayır. The speakers, Prof. İsmail Güleç (İstanbul Medeniyet University, Faculty of Letters) and Prof. Nur Urfalıoğlu (Yıldız Teknik University, Faculty of Architecture) communicated their experiences in using IRCICA library, which they visited many times for research purposes; the third speaker, Prof. Ashirbek Muminov (IRCICA’s Consultant for Central Asian Studies) spoke of IRCICA Library’s collections important for cultural history studies on Central Asia and its providing references to researchers from different countries.
