Prof. Dr. Ferruh Özpilavcı, President of the Manuscripts Institution (YEK) of Türkiye, was received by IRCICA Director General Prof. Dr. Mahmud Erol Kılıç at IRCICA on 14 August 2024, where an MOU was signed for the restoration of some manuscripts contained in IRCICA’s collections at the YEK Book Hospital. Prof. Özpilavcı was accompanied by Dr. Nil Baydar, Head of the Book Hospital and Archive Department; and conservation specialists Ms. Gizem Erten and Ms. Fatma Nihan Ayhan. Dr. Didar Bayır, Head of IRCICA Library and Archive Department, was also present at the meeting.
