The fifth talk in the seminar series coordinated online by IRCICA and Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, Samarkand, Uzbekistan, was given by Dr. Didar Bayır, Head of IRCICA Library and Archive, on 11 Oct. 2024. Dr. Bayır spoke on the planning and management of data and information for research; relevant processes and methods, and various issues that need attention. Alluding to the questions of access to information, the Digital Object Identifier (DOI), citation indexes, databases, selection of journals for submission of articles, AI and ChatGPT, she described how librarians can support and assist researchers through all these processes. Dr. Bayır also briefed the attendees on the activities of IRCICA Library and Archive in these areas.
