Within the scope of the “Turkic World Cultural Heritage Site Managers Experience Sharing Program” conducted in cooperation with the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation (Baku, Azerbaijan), a program was organized on 26 September 2024 with the participation of museum directors, site managers, experts on cultural heritage conservation and museology from the OIC Member States in Central Asia. There were 28 participants in total from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye. During the program, the Assistant Director General of IRCICA Prof. Aboubacar Abdullah Senghore, Head of Research and Publications Prof. Cengiz Tomar, and Consultant on Central Asian Studies Prof Ashirbek Muminov briefed the participants about IRCICA’s activities in the field of culture and arts. This was followed by the presentation by the Chief of the Architectural Section Dr. Alidost Ertuğrul on IRCICA’s studies and projects relating to cultural heritage preservation and management, visitor management issues, and recommendations for the conservation of historical buildings. At the end of the program, the participants were guided to IRCICA library.
