IRCICA Director General Prof. Halit Eren met with Dr. Salim Al Malik, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO, Rabat) on 28 May 2019, during the period of the Conference on “Values of Moderation in the Texts of the Quran and the Sunnah” which was organized by the Muslim World League at Makkah al-Mukaramah.
The Director Generals revised their existing cooperation frameworks, mechanisms and areas and exchanged views on the priorities of their future collaboration.
Dr. Salim Al Malik took office as ISESCO Director General on 9 May 2019, succeeding in this post to Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri.
ISESCO, a specialized organ of the OIC, and IRCICA; a subsidiary of the OIC, are cooperating in many converging areas of interest within the framework of a Cooperation Agreement signed in 2006.
