Mr. Ibrahim Patel, Former Minister of Economy and Trade, South Africa, together with Mr. Haroon Kalla, President of AMKA Products and Former CEO of Awqaf SA; Mr. Mickaeel Collier, CEO, Awqaf SA; Mr. Irfaan Bux, President, B&B Media Company, South Africa, paid a visit to Prof. Mahmud Erol Kılıç, Director General, IRCICA, on 8 November 2024. Assistant Director General Prof. Aboubacar Senghore, Head of Research and Publications, Prof. Cengiz Tomar, and Consultant to the Director General Prof. Sadık Ünay took part in the talks. Minister Patel and the other dignitaries had participated in the Third International Congress on “Islamic Civilisation in Southern Africa” which was organized by Awqaf SA and IRCICA in Cape Town with the cooperation of media institutions, in September 2022. The newly published book of proceedings of the congress was presented during this visit.
