Persian edition of IRCICA’s book History of Ottoman State and Civilisation launched in Tehran

IRCICA’s publication titled History of Ottoman State and Civilisation has been translated and published in a Persian language edition by the Encyclopedia Islamica Foundation, Islamic Republic of Iran. A book launching was held on 1st May 2018 at Bagh-e Kitab (Book Garden) in Tehran. The event was addressed by: Prof. Ghulamali Haddad Adel, President of Encyclopedia Islamica Foundation; Dr. Halit Eren, Director General, IRCICA; and Ambassador Rıza Hakan Tekin, Ambassador of Turkey in Tehran. Were also present Prof. Mahmut Erol Kılıç, Secretary General of the Tehran-based Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), and personalities from academic and cultural circles. The book launch had as guest speaker Dr. Mohammad Ali Movahed, an eminent literary figure of Iran and translator of Ibn Battuta’s travel book into Persian.
