The album of historical photographs of Yemen published by IRCICA contains 122 photographs selected from its archive, mainly the Albums of Sultan Abdulhamid II dating from the end of the 19th-beginning of the 20th century. The album pictures shared memories of the peoples of Yemen and other Muslim countries from the Ottoman period. A sample of 54 photographs from the album was given public view in Sana’a the same year, where copies of the aibum were presented to the President of Yemen H.E. Ali Abdullah Saleh and Prime Minister Mr. Ali Muhammed Mujur.
