IRCICA, jointly with the OIC General Secretariat and Arewa House, Ahmadu Bello University, Kaduna, Nigeria, organized the International Conference on the “History of Islamic Learning and Scholarship in Africa”, on 13-15 June 2023. The conference received paper presentations by participants from universities and research institutes in various countries and IRCICA. The book contains 7 articles under the section titled “Islamic Education and Scholarship”, 6 under “Intellectual and Spiritual Movements”, and 6 under “Colonialism and Cultural Revival”.
